Name for a kitchen buffet island w/ bar-stools? - kitchen island bar

What is the name (or where to look) for an independent island, kitchen / cupboard space for banks? My mother had a house when it was built .. but they do not recall if the manufacturer is. Are in my room, we use one of them. I have my desk / chairs in the solarium of the formal dining room. Thank you all.
